Malaika Costello-Dougherty is a San Francisco-based
journalist who edits Edutopia.org to promote innovation in
education. She's also worked as a newspaper reporter and
magazine editor, which took her on assignments as varied as
an Oscar's after-party and a Lompoc Federal Prison visit.
While earning a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern, she
began writing a book about the Haight Ashbury. Now to finish.
